Who we are

Ex-ceptional Engineering Services Ltd ("we", "us") is the controller of personal data collected through this website. We are registered in Scotland, company number SC840766, with our registered office at 81 Rosebank Avenue, Falkirk, FK1 5JR. Contact us about privacy at info@ex-ceptionalengineering.com.

What we collect

• Enquiries. When you use the enquiry form or email us: your name, company, email address, phone number, site location and what you tell us about the job.
• Analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies: how you use the site, such as pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote: our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it: your consent, given through the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site: our web host, a form-delivery service that passes enquiries to our inbox, our email provider and, with your consent, Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd). Some of these may process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted after 24 months. Where we do work together, records are kept for as long as needed for the contract and for six years after it ends, for legal and tax purposes. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, ask us to restrict or stop using it, or ask for a copy to move elsewhere. Email info@ex-ceptionalengineering.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
